The Transformational Content Coaching was designed to help teachers avoid data overwhelm, address misconceptions in an intentional way, and help students make foundational connections. Teachers will be equipped with strategies that will allow them to focus on the focus, maximize their instructional time, and increase student achievement.

Anyone who wants to create more intentional, connected instruction is welcome, from novice teachers to instructional coaches. Instructional Coaches, including novice coaches, will find value the data and lesson planning modules.

Most of the material we cover was first introduced to students in elementary grades. Therefore, many upper elementary (3-6) teachers will find value in the material presented.

However, middle and high school students struggle in these areas too. For this reason, middle and high school teachers may benefit from learning new strategies that help kids make connections.

You will be granted access to the Transformational Content Coaching website in Kajabi. after the first month's payment has been made. Each MONTHLY HOT SPOT will be placed on the announcements calendar.

VIP Package:

It is important to have a trusting relationship with coach. So, we need to make sure we are a good fit. After you click the submit button:

1) You will be sent a brief "Get-to-Know-You Questionnaire. 

2) Set up a phone to discuss our collaboration and to ask any questions.

3) You will be sent a proposal and a contract.

4) After contract has been signed by both parties and payment has been made, you will schedule your first VIP session and granted access to the Transformational Content Coaching website in Kajabi. Look for announcements on the announcements calendar.

The goal of this mentorship is to equip you with tools to help make connections for your students. All instructional materials were created with this in mind and focus on making connections among concrete, representational, and abstract methods.

There may be student activities that can be used to practice a skill that has been addressed in an instructional video.

The materials are NOT curriculum. There will not be an instructional video/activity for every standard, TEKS or Common Core.

You will be able to access to the MathWhys Digital Library and all meetings through Kajabi.

You will be sent log-in information from Kajabi once a:

1) membership has been purchased.

2) VIP package has been purchased and a contract has been signed by both parties.

You will have access to your courses through your Transformational Content Coaching Library on Kajabi.

A VIP session is personalized time that is scheduled to collaborate on your instructional and classroom concerns. This time is solely about meeting your needs. We discuss solutions and create a plan for your immediate needs while focusing in areas that will give us the most bang for the buck.

Immediate concern:

Students performed poorly on a multiplication/division test. They missed many of the division problems. What do I do to reteach with everything else I have to teach?

Solution:

We will review data to determine underlying misconception. It is not that students can't divide. They can divide, but struggle to interpret the remainder.

We devise a plan to reteach this misconception over the course of a few days. The concept is strategically calendared during bellringers and stations in way that will help students make connections and support Tier 1 instruction. We also determine when and how to reassess the concept. 

The sessions may be completed in one day or separated over a course of days based on the package purchased.

Here are the options for scheduling and completing your VIP sessions.

  • Three 1-hour sessions
• Master the Connections:
  • One 6-hour session
  • Two 3-hour sessions
  • Six 1-hour sessions

NOTE: For greatest impact, all sessions should be completed within 3 months of beginning the first session.

You will be able to schedule your VIP session on the link provided.

We understand that life happens, please keep communication open.

If you are not able to come to a session, please notify us within 24-hours, and your session will be rescheduled.

If you are more than 10 minutes late or a no-show for a session, the session will be rescheduled. You will be notified of the date via email.

After two rescheduled sessions, a $25 rescheduling fee will be assessed and an invoice will be immediately sent for each rescheduled session thereafter. 

Another session will NOT be scheduled until the fee has been paid.

These materials MAY NOT be shared with anyone who has not purchased a membership or a VIP package without authorization from Intentional Change, owner of all materials.

This course is designed for upper elementary. However, many students who struggle in mathematics because they lack foundational math and reasoning skills. For this reason, the course is open to anyone who needs to help students form meaningful connections.

All instruction is aligned to Texas standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). TEKS are very similar to Common Core.

The content is useful for any math teacher. Good math teaching is good math teaching! The focus is on creating foundational connections and understandings and NOT individual standards.

Monthly Hot Topic Zoom meetings are held one Saturday per month at 10am CST.

You will be notified before the meeting to allow you to plan accordingly.

During these meetings, we will dive deeper into topics that have been covered in an instructional video.

The monthly topic will be announced at the beginning of each month.

For the Transformational Content Coaching membership, you do NOT have to sign a contract. The membership may be cancelled at anytime. Upon cancellation, you will lose access to the Transformational Content Coaching material on the Kajabi site.

For each package: Unlock the Connection; Rethink the Connection, Master the Connection, and The MathWise Educator, you WILL sign a contract.
